Venezuela is facing one of the worst natural disasters in its recent history.
On June 24, 2026, two devastating earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck northern Venezuela, causing widespread destruction across communities, homes, hospitals, and critical infrastructure.
According to the latest official reports:
💔 More than 2,295 people have lost their lives.
🚑 Over 11,000 people have been injured.
🏠 At least 15,800 people have lost their homes, while more than 28,000 homes have been severely damaged or destroyed, leaving countless families without a safe place to live.
🆘 Thousands of survivors remain in temporary shelters or outdoors, urgently needing clean water, food, medical care, and basic necessities.
Rescue teams continue searching through the rubble as families struggle to recover from unimaginable loss.
