At Green Heritage Fund Suriname (GHFS), we protect wildlife where it matters most—in the wild. For over 20 years, we’ve been rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing animals like sloths, anteaters, and armadillos that are displaced by deforestation and human activity.

At our Xenarthra Rehabilitation Center, every rescued animal receives expert care and a second chance to return to its natural habitat. But we don’t stop there. We combine science, community action, and education to prevent harm before it happens and to protect entire ecosystems in our coastal zone.
