Catastrophic flash floods and landslides have swept through communities, destroying homes, roads, bridges, vehicles, businesses, and critical infrastructure. Entire areas have been buried under mud and debris, while families have been forced to flee with little or nothing.

Many families are still waiting for news about loved ones who remain missing.

Some survivors have lost their homes, belongings, livestock, food supplies, and access to clean drinking water. In several affected areas, damaged roads and infrastructure have made it extremely difficult for rescuers and humanitarian assistance to reach communities.
