“The Promise of the Forest”
In a small village surrounded by green hills, there lived a boy named Ayaan. Every morning, he would walk through the forest to reach his school. The trees whispered in the wind, birds sang sweet songs, and a gentle stream flowed beside the path. To Ayaan, the forest was not just trees—it was family.
One day, he noticed something strange. Some trees were cut down, plastic lay scattered, and the stream looked dull. The forest felt… quiet and sad.
Ayaan sat beside his favorite tree and said softly,

That day, he made a promise.
He began small—picking up waste, planting young saplings, and telling his friends about the importance of nature. At first, only a few listened. But slowly, the village joined him. Together, they cleaned the forest, protected the animals, and planted more trees than ever before.
Seasons passed, and the forest came back to life. The birds returned, the stream sparkled again, and the wind carried joyful whispers.
One evening, as Ayaan stood beneath his favorite tree, he felt a soft breeze and heard the leaves rustle. It was as if the forest was saying,
“Thank you.”
Ayaan smiled and whispered back,
“I will always care for you.”
