In the blink of an eye, everything changed for this hardworking family. A devastating house fire has taken the longtime home of a devoted single mom, her determined 12-year-old son, and his loving aunt. Along with the home they cherished for years, they lost nearly all of their belongings. Their three beloved dogs were also part of the home that meant so much to them.
This family has always been the kind of people who give to others without hesitation. As a single mom, she has worked tirelessly to provide a stable and loving life for her son. Her 12-year-old is an incredibly dedicated young hockey player who works hard not only on the ice but in everyday life. He runs his own small firewood business and has spent summers setting up lemonade stands and helping in the community—always eager to work for what he earns.
His aunt, who also lived in the home, lost everything in the fire as well. Together, they have always been a close, supportive family who lean on each other through life’s challenges.
Their house was more than just a place to live—it was a multi-family home where the mother, aunt, and son all lived together while helping care for their elderly grandmother. It was a home built on love, support, and family, where everyone worked together to take care of one another.
This is the type of family that would never ask anyone for help. They are the ones who always opened their doors to others—hosting cookouts, inviting friends and neighbors over, and making sure everyone had a warm meal and a place to feel welcome. Their home was truly a gathering place for so many.
Now they are facing the unimaginable task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Donations will help provide essentials like clothing, temporary housing, food, supplies for their dogs, and the many unexpected costs that come after a tragedy like this.
Any support, big or small, will mean the world to this family as they begin the long journey of rebuilding what was lost. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is another powerful way to help.
Thank you for helping a family who has always been there for everyone else.
