'Pam', the beloved bird mural, was not just another piece of art; it was a cherished part of Melbourne's vibrant street art culture, ICONIC in Melbourne and Australia.  It's heartbreaking to see it's under threat of being removed. Melbourne is world-known for its street art, which contributes significantly to the city's tourism. According to a report by Tourism Australia, over half a million tourists each year are drawn to Melbourne, primarily to experience the artistic vibe of the city. Despite the apparent importance of these street artworks, local authorities are increasingly striving to clean the city walls, putting 'Pam', along with numerous other murals, at risk. 

It's time to recognize and protect the endeavors of artists that have helped Melbourne gain an International reputation for street art. We demand that the local authorities preserve Pam's iconic bird art and respect the city's rich art culture. Art is an expression, a language that needs no words, and we should let 'Pam' keep speaking to hearts.
