Flood In Nepal - Help Victims Recover- Emergency

On Wednesday morning, August 26, 2026, a catastrophic glacial flash flood struck communities along the Nepal-Tibet border. A massive collapse of ice and rock into the Lhende Khola River triggered a powerful surge of mud, water, and debris that tore downstream with devastating force.

Within minutes, villages, homes, roads, and critical bridges in Rasuwa District, particularly around Timure and Syafrubesi, were severely affected.

As of today, lives have been lost, and many families remain missing, displaced, trapped, or isolated in areas that are difficult to reach.

While the military and emergency authorities are carrying out rescue operations, local rescue teams and volunteers are also working tirelessly on the ground. They are racing against time to search for survivors and provide urgent assistance, often with limited equipment, communication tools, transportation, and other essential resources.

At the same time, thousands of affected people urgently need food, clean drinking water, shelter, warm clothing, blankets, and medical support.

Why I Am Raising Funds

As a Nepali citizen, I cannot stand by while communities in my country are facing such a devastating crisis.

I am launching this fundraiser to create a direct and rapid-response source of support for those affected by this disaster. The goal is to help deliver emergency resources as quickly as possible to the people and local teams who need them most.
