The Dolly Parton Memorial Legacy Fund. The world lost a piece of its heart when our beloved Dolly departed this earthly life, surrounded by love after her brief, brave battle with cancer.

For decades, Dolly wasn’t just a voice on the radio or a sparkling icon on stage she was our comfort, our mountain sunshine, and the living embodiment of unconditional love. She spent eighty years teaching us that no matter how humble our beginnings, our hearts could always afford to be generous. From putting books in the hands of millions of little dreamers to nursing communities back to health in their darkest hours, she gave until her very last breath.

Though the stage is quiet now and her laughter lingers only as a precious memory, the work she started must not end. Dolly always told us, “I just give from my heart. I see a need, and if I can fill it, then I will.”

This memorial campaign is our chance to fill that need for her. Every dollar raised directly supports the charities closest to her heart, including the Imagination Library and Vanderbilt Medical Research.
