Hey 👋 I'm Gleb — founder of the Lentsweletau project

Earlier this year I spent four months in Botswana 🌍 and started volunteering for a small church in the village of Lentsweletau. I built and deployed their bilingual website https://lentsweletau.com/en/ 🌐, shoot photos for them 📸, and design posters for church events. I've since left the country, but I'm close with the pastor and his family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and I'm still helping the community remotely 📡.

Right now the Sunday School building needs a real renovation 🏗. The roof leaks — so the classrooms get damp after every rain 🌧 — and the walls are in rough shape too. The village is small and the community can't cover the repair on its own 💸.

Here's how the flow works, end to end:

— funds raised from the token I convert P2P into BWP (local currency) 💰

— BWP goes directly to the pastor's account 🏦

— the pastor buys construction materials locally 🧱

— the church community does all the actual work themselves 🔨

100% of what lands there goes through the same P2P → BWP → pastor flow.
