Can 1,000,000 strangers send $1 each?

Hi! I’m launching a simple and slightly ridiculous internet experiment.

The idea is:

1,000,000 people × $1 = $1,000,000.

I’m not selling a product. This isn’t an investment. There are no tokens, returns, prizes, or promises.

And I’m not going to invent a dramatic story to convince anyone to donate.

I simply want to find out whether one million people from around the world can come together and contribute just $1 each to a completely transparent internet experiment.

If you decide to participate, please only contribute money you are completely comfortable giving away.

If we reach $100, I’ll post an update.

If we reach $1,000, I’ll probably start believing this crazy idea might actually work.

If we reach $100,000, things have officially gotten out of control.

And if we somehow reach $1,000,000…
